Rebecca Kaplan

Rebecca Kaplan, LGSW, currently serves as a Senior Quality Improvement Specialist at The National Center for Children and Families, a position held since April 2018, having previously worked as a Quality Improvement Specialist. Prior experience includes roles as a Clinical Case Manager at PSI Family Services, Inc. where responsibilities involved crisis intervention, counseling, and maintaining case records, and as a Psychiatric Technician at Adventist Behavioral Health, focusing on discharge planning and patient care. Additional experience includes an internship at the Department of Veterans Affairs, providing evidence-based treatment to veterans, and a Data Coordinator position at the Medical University of South Carolina, where Rebecca trained clinicians in trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy. Academically, Rebecca holds a Master of Social Work from the University of Maryland Baltimore, a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the College of Charleston, and has studied at UNSW and Universitat de Barcelona.
