Ashford Sonii

In his role as the Contracts and Grants Management Specialist, Ashford Sonii coordinates the compliance and financial elements of a complex grants portfolio, including federal funding, interagency agreements, cooperative agreements, and highly technical special projects.

He brings a strong knowledge of grant administration, community development, project management, and analysis strategy to NCFL. Prior to joining NCFL, Ashford worked on multiple metropolitan grant administration teams. He holds a Bachelor’s in Political Science from the University of Texas at Arlington with plans to complete his Master’s in Public Administration. Ashford is a musician who enjoys singing, songwriting, and discovering great new unknown artists in his free time. Someday, he wants to travel and backpack in various locations around the world. Ashford appreciates NCFL’s longstanding efforts in what he calls addressing “local needs with local deeds.”
