Becky Goetzinger

Senior Content Specialist, Family Engagement at National Center for Families Learning

Becky Goetzinger leads NCFL's K-12 literacy and family engagement strategies. She supports various grants and partnerships including NCFL’s family engagement work with Jefferson County Public Schools, a Native Youth Community Project grant at Little Wound School, a Kentucky Comprehensive Literacy grant in Pike County Schools, and the Kentucky Reading Project in collaboration with the state’s public universities. Prior to joining NCFL, Becky was a classroom teacher and instructional coach for 24 years and has taught at the elementary, middle, high school, and university levels. Becky holds a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from the University of Kentucky, a master’s degree in Reading Education from the University of Louisville, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Education and Social Change from Bellarmine University. Becky is a cat mom who enjoys reading, cooking, traveling, rooting for the University of Kentucky Wildcats, and spending time with family and friends.
