National Director, Education Strategy & Innovation at National Center for Families Learning

As the National Director of Education Strategy and Innovation, Cassandra spearheads NCFL’s programmatic offerings including program design, immersive technologies, and strategic priorities. In this capacity, Cassandra oversees and supports the Family Literacy, Family Engagement, Family Leadership, and Professional Learning teams. With 7 years’ experience as a classroom teacher and 4 years’ experience in educational administration, Cassandra is excited to bring a strong knowledge base of literacy, leadership, student and family engagement, and program development to NCFL. Cassandra holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education, Reading, and English Language Learning from the University of Central Florida, as well as a Master of Education degree in School Leadership and Development from Harvard Graduate School of Education. In her spare time, Cassandra enjoys long walks with her dogs, Oliva and Max, spontaneous road trips with her loved ones, and karaoke.
