Budour Alshehri is a Numerical Modeling Specialist at the National Center for Meteorology, engaged in research and development within the SDS-WAS Regional Center since September 2022. Responsibilities include supervising data archives, serving as a junior researcher in numerical weather forecasting and dust chemistry simulation, analyzing data, and contributing to data storage management. Previous experience includes a role as a Data Scientist T5 Bootcamp participant at SDAIA, where Budour gained expertise in data science fundamentals and machine learning, along with an AI trainee position at the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology of Saudi Arabia, focusing on human-computer interaction and machine learning concepts. Budour holds a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from King AbdulAziz University and several nanodegrees from Udacity, including programming for data science and business analytics.

Council of Ministers approval No. (417) was issued on 7/19/1440 AH to establish the National Center of Meteorology, to provide high-quality weather and climate services to protect lives and support development, in addition to any services related to meteorology locally, regionally and internationally based on a modern and flexible institutional framework according to the best global practices in this field.
