Ann Park

Ann Park has a diverse work experience in the legal field. Ann is currently the Director of Legal Affairs at the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children. Prior to this role, they worked as a Staff Attorney at The Asian Pacific American Legal Resource Center for five years. Ann also served as a Fulbright Fellow at the U.S. Department of State.

In addition, Ann has extensive experience in child welfare and immigrant rights. Ann was a Public Interest Fellow at the American Bar Association Center on Children and the Law, where they researched and analyzed child welfare policies and procedures for immigrant children and families. Ann also authored a journal article on the intersection of immigration enforcement and the child welfare system.

Ann's work includes direct advocacy as well. Ann served as a Child Advocate at the Young Center for Immigrant Children's Rights, where they provided support and made recommendations to undocumented immigrant children facing immigration proceedings.

Throughout their career, Ann has had various internships and externships, including positions at Voices for America's Children, The Cook County Juvenile Court Clinic, and N.D. Illinois, U.S. District Court. Ann also has editing experience as a Senior Editor for the Children's Legal Rights Journal.

Ann Park has a strong educational background, with various degrees in different fields of study. Ann began their education at Wesleyan University, where they pursued their Bachelor's degree from 2003 to 2007. Ann focused their studies in the College of Social Studies during their time there.

In 2010, Ann decided to further their education and enrolled at Loyola University Chicago School of Law. Ann completed their Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree at Loyola University from 2010 to 2013. During their time at Loyola, Ann Park also became a Civitas Child Law Fellow, specializing in areas such as child welfare, child trafficking, adoption, and juvenile justice.

Additionally, in the same year, Ann briefly participated in the Inter-University Program for Chinese Language Studies, where they concentrated solely on studying the Chinese language.
