Ashley Freiberger

Director Of Legislative Affairs at National Center for Missing & Exploited Children

Ashley Freiberger has an extensive and diverse work experience. Ashley currently holds the position of Director of Legislative Affairs at the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children since July 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Congressional Liaison for the International Conservation Caucus Foundation from January 2021 to February 2023. Ashley also served as an Associate Director of Government Affairs at J Street from February 2018 to December 2020. In the United States Senate, they held the role of Legislative Assistant from August 2016 to February 2018. Before their government positions, they worked as an Intelligence Analyst at the Office of Naval Intelligence from October 2012 to August 2016. Prior to that, they worked briefly as an Events and Member Support Associate at The Advisory Board Company in 2012. Ashley also gained experience as an intern at Congressman John Yarmuth's office. Additionally, they have been involved in political campaigns, including serving as the Deputy Political Director for Hillary Clinton's 2008 Kentucky campaign, as well as holding roles in the campaigns for Jack Conway for Attorney General and Steve Beshear for Governor in 2007.

Ashley Freiberger has a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Political Science from the University of Louisville. Additionally, they have a Master's degree from Georgetown University, specifically in the Edmund Walsh School of Foreign Service. Ashley also studied at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem at the Rothberg International School, although the degree obtained from this institution is not specified.
