Susan Kennedy, Ed.M. has a diverse work experience in various roles related to child advocacy, prevention programs, and education. Susan is currently the Director of Outreach, Training, & Prevention at the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children since September 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Senior Program Manager of Outreach & Prevention at the same organization from April 2021 to September 2022. From May 2018 to April 2021, Susan worked as the Prevention Program Manager at the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children.

Before joining the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, Susan held the role of Child Advocacy Center Program Director at The Center for Alexandria's Children from September 2008 to May 2018. Susan also worked as a Children's Program Coordinator at SCAN of Northern Virginia from August 2006 to December 2011, where they planned and supervised activities for children while their parents attended support group meetings.

Susan also served as a Graduate Research Assistant at Harvard Family Research Project from September 2004 to May 2005, collaborating with the Family Involvement Network of Educators.

In addition to their formal education, Susan also received a certification in Communication Skills for Modern Management from LinkedIn in July 2023.
