Mia D. J. currently serves as Chartering President and Organizing Leader for the National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Inc. in both the Ft. Worth Interest Group and the Dallas Metropolitan Chapter. With extensive experience in community outreach and social services, Mia holds the position of National Community Outreach Manager at The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Past roles include Division Manager and CPS Investigative Supervisor at the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services, where responsibilities involved overseeing child welfare operations and ensuring child protection. Mia's earlier career includes positions as an Intensive Outpatient Therapist, Assessment Clinician, and Qualified Mental Health Professional. Mia earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Dallas Baptist University and a certificate in Equitable Community Change from Cornell University.
