Cassidy Ellis, PhD, currently serves as an Assistant Professor at the University of Cincinnati and as an Editorial Assistant for the National Communication Association's Communication and Critical/Cultural Studies journal. With extensive experience in academia, Cassidy held positions as an Instructor and Research Lead at the University of New Mexico, where responsibilities included leading mixed-methods research projects and teaching various communication courses. Prior roles include Visiting Assistant Professor at the University of Tampa, Graduate Instructor at the University of Denver, and Adjunct Instructor across multiple institutions. Cassidy holds a PhD in Intercultural Communication and Media Studies from the University of New Mexico and a PhD in Communication Studies from the University of Denver, complemented by Master's and Bachelor's degrees in Communication Studies and History, respectively.
