Mariecus Jarvis Pharm.d., M.ed.

Mariecus Jarvis, Pharm.D., M.Ed. has a diverse work experience. Mariecus is currently serving as the Associate Director of Education and Committee Structure at the National Community Pharmacists Association (NCPA) since June 2023. Prior to this, they worked as an Executive Resident at the American Pharmacists Association from July 2022 to June 2023. Mariecus also has experience as a Pharmacy Intern at Walgreens from January 2020 to March 2022, and as a Pharmacy Intern at Demmy's Pharmacy and Health Limited for two months in 2019. In addition to their pharmacy work, Mariecus has worked as a Science Teacher at Minneapolis Public Schools from August 2017 to June 2018, at Moundsview Public Schools from October 2016 to May 2017, and at Harvest Network of Schools from July 2014 to July 2016. Mariecus also served as a Chemistry tutor/Biology Researcher at Gustavus Adolphus College from June 2011 to June 2014.

Mariecus Jarvis, Pharm.D., M.Ed. pursued their education in a systematic manner, with a focus on healthcare and education. Mariecus began their educational journey in 2010, graduating in 2014 with a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, and Sociology/Anthropology from Gustavus Adolphus College.

In 2014, Mariecus continued their educational pursuits at the University of Minnesota, where they obtained a Master of Education (M.Ed.) degree in Curriculum and Instruction in 2017. The focus of their studies was on developing effective teaching methods and creating engaging educational materials.

Mariecus furthered their passion for healthcare by enrolling at Howard University in 2018. Mariecus completed their Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree in 2022, specializing in the field of Pharmacy. Throughout their pharmacy studies, Mariecus gained a comprehensive understanding of pharmaceutical sciences, patient care, and medication management.
