Tim Young.

Tim Young is an experienced professional in the field of materials and sustainability, currently serving as a Visiting Industrial Professor at the Bristol Composites Institute and Head of Sustainable Technologies at the National Composites Centre since June 2013. In this role, Tim Young focuses on delivering the Sustainable Composites partnership with CPI and supporting the sustainability transition of customers. Previously, as Head of Materials, Tim Young was responsible for technical delivery, strategic direction, and team leadership while also emphasizing health and safety and customer interaction. Tim Young's earlier roles at the National Composites Centre include Engineering Capability Manager and Engineering Capability Lead, complemented by a research background from the National Physical Laboratory. Tim Young holds an Engineering Doctorate in Micro- and nano-materials and technologies from the University of Surrey.
