Jingbo Wang

Deputy Director, Business Development And User Engagement at National Computational Infrastructure

Jingbo Wang possesses extensive experience in computational and geophysical research, currently serving as the Deputy Director for Business Development and User Engagement at the National Computational Infrastructure since January 2014. In this role, Jingbo Wang has built the NCI's training program, led educational initiatives, developed software environments for high-performance computing users, and managed national data collections. Prior to this, Jingbo Wang was a Senior Geophysicist at Geoscience Australia, managing historical land seismic survey datasets, and worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory specializing in microseismic event detection in geothermal fields. Jingbo Wang holds a PhD in Seismology from the University of Cambridge, a Master’s degree in Geophysics and Seismology from the Graduate School of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, and a Bachelor of Science in Geological and Earth Sciences from Jilin University.
