Cristina Charron Cmp

Cristina Charron, CMP has extensive experience in event management and catering sales. Cristina is currently the Director of Events at the National Contract Management Association (NCMA), a position they have held since April 2023. Prior to this, Cristina worked as the Senior Manager of Conferences & Meetings at the American Society of Civil Engineers from May 2016 to April 2023. Cristina also has experience in catering and customer service roles at Salamander Hotels & Resorts from 2012 to 2015, Kessler Collection from 2009 to 2012, and Gaylord Entertainment from 2002 to 2009.

Cristina Charron, CMP has a diverse education history. In 2019, they obtained a certification as a Certified Meeting Planner from the Events Industry Council. In 2008, they completed a Sommelier Course. Cristina also holds an MBA in Business/ Finance from Webster University. Additionally, they completed the International Hospitality Program at Disney World. Finally, Cristina earned a BA in Interpreting and Business Communications from Universitatea "Babes-Bolyai" din Cluj-Napoca. Alongside their educational achievements, they also obtained the Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) certification in April 2019 from the Events Industry Council.
