Anthony Carter, LCSW-C, currently serves as the Director of Practice Improvement & Consulting at the National Council for Mental Wellbeing since May 2022. Previously, Anthony held the role of Data and Quality Assurance Manager for Child Welfare Services at Montgomery County Government from May 2018 to April 2022, along with experience as a Social Worker in Child Protective Services. Prior to that, Anthony was a Program Manager at Public Allies from August 2012 to August 2016 and worked as a Program Coordinator at Nonprofit Roundtable between November 2010 and July 2012. Anthony's early career included a position as a Program Associate at El Pomar Foundation from June 2008 to May 2010. Educationally, Anthony obtained a Master of Social Work (MSW) focused on Children and Families from the University of Maryland Baltimore in 2018 and a Bachelor of Science in American Government and Politics from Kansas State University in 2008.
