Mohini Venkatesh

Mohini Venkatesh has extensive experience in mental health policy and services. Since October 2007, Mohini has held multiple leadership roles at the National Council for Mental Wellbeing, serving as Chief of Staff, Vice President of Business & Strategy, and Vice President of Practice Improvement, focusing on policy analysis related to federal initiatives such as the Affordable Care Act and securing funding for programs. Prior to this, Mohini was a Board Member at the McClendon Center, which aims to enhance the quality of life for individuals recovering from mental illness, and completed an internship at the Connecticut Community Providers Association evaluating health reform's impact on behavioral health services. Early career experience includes working as a Mental Health Technician at Holy Family Hospital, ensuring patient care and treatment plan adherence. Mohini earned an MPH in Health Policy from the Yale School of Public Health and a BA in Psychology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
