Kevin Dykema

Kevin Dykema has extensive experience in mathematics education, currently serving as Past President of the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM) since October 2022. Dykema has been a Math Teacher with the Mattawan Consolidated School District since 1999 and offers professional development services as a Math Professional Development Consultant for various school districts across Michigan and the United States. Additionally, Dykema works as an Independent Consultant for ETA hand2mind since 2005, developing new products and providing related professional development. Dykema's previous roles include serving on the Board of Directors for NCTM from 2016 to 2019 and as Regional Director for the Michigan Council of Teachers of Mathematics from 2009 to 2011. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in Mathematics Education from Western Michigan University and a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from Calvin University.
