Tim Kosiba is a seasoned cybersecurity professional currently serving as a Member of the Board of Directors at the National Cybersecurity Center and as Principal Cyber Advisor at Savannah River National Laboratory. Since June 2023, Tim Kosiba has also been an Advisor at Touchstone Futures and a member of the Cybersecurity Advisory Council at Forgepoint Capital. Additional roles include membership in the National Security Collaboration Center at The University of Texas at San Antonio and as a Visiting Fellow Affiliate Faculty Member at the National Security Institute. Prior to these positions, Tim Kosiba held various senior roles within the United States Department of Defense, U.S. Cyber Command, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation, amassing extensive experience in cybersecurity and forensic science. Tim Kosiba holds a Master’s Degree in Forensic Science from The George Washington University and a Bachelor’s of Science in Management Information Systems from the University of Baltimore.

The National Cybersecurity Center (NCC) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit for cyber innovation and awareness. Established in 2016 from the vision of United States Senator from Colorado John Hickenlooper, in coordination with several people from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS) and the community, the NCC serves both public and private organizations and individuals through leadership, education, and collaboration.
