Arshi Hashmi-Ph.D.

Arshi Hashmi-PhD currently serves as Dean and Professor at the Faculty of Contemporary Studies at the National Defence University Islamabad, where responsibilities include teaching courses on Terrorism and Religion and supervising MPhil and PhD theses. Prior to this role, Arshi served as Visiting Faculty at Quaid-e-Azam University and held various positions in research and analysis at organizations such as the Institute of Regional Studies, the United States Institute of Peace, and the Pew Forum on Religion and Public Life. Arshi Hashmi's educational background includes a PhD in Religion and Violent Conflicts from the School of Politics and International Relations at Quaid-e-Azam University, an MA in International Peace and Conflict Resolution from American University, and an executive education program in Counter Terrorism from Harvard Kennedy School.
