Judy Reed

Judy Reed is an accomplished human resources executive with more than thirty years of experience in leading the design and execution of Human Resources strategy. She has held Human Resources leadership roles in for- and non-profit organizations, as well as in varying industries, which have included The Hair Cuttery, Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association, and Corporation for Public Broadcasting. Her last position was with The Humane Society of the United States where she served as Senior Vice President, Human Capital & Administration.

As a change leader, Judy has provided value-added Human Resource solutions that have enhanced employee engagement and leveraged organizational capacity and performance. Her accomplishments have included successfully advancing organizational change through acquisitions, efficiency assessments, reorganizations, and process/policy improvements; establishment of staff and leadership training and development programs, including succession planning; creation of retention and engagement strategies focused on enhancing staff involvement, career development, recognition, and work/life programs; design of competitive and cost-efficient compensation and benefits programs; and implementation of performance management processes and tools, as well as internal communications, risk management and compliance initiatives.

Judy received her Master of Science degree in Industrial Relations, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from West Virginia University. In addition, she attained her Senior Human Resources Certification (SPHR) from the Human Resources Certification Institute and also holds an Employee Benefit Plan Administration Certificate from Georgetown University.
