Doug Keast

Doug Keast has extensive experience in project management and technical assistance within the disability employment sector. As Project Director at the National Disability Institute since February 2015, Doug leads a team focused on aiding State Vocational Rehabilitation Agencies in the implementation of the Workforce Investment Act. Additionally, Doug served as a Training and Technical Assistance Manager, providing expert support for the DOL Disability Employment Initiative. Prior to this role, Doug worked at Iowa Workforce Development from August 1998 to February 2015 as Program Coordinator, contributing to the implementation of the Workforce Investment Act in Iowa and overseeing multiple initiatives related to disability employment. Doug holds a Master’s Degree in Vocational Rehabilitation - Placement from Drake University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Iowa.
