Monika Krol

Monika Krol, MSc, currently serves as a Research Specialist at the National Disability Institute and as a MEAL Officer at Emic Perspective Consulting, where expertise in disaster response, development, and equity has been applied, particularly in the context of the Russia-Ukrainian War. With previous roles including Research Project Consultant and Project Manager at IAVE and Disaster Response Associate at GlobalGiving, Monika has contributed to significant publications addressing volunteering and corporate responsibility. Experience as a Food Anthropologist with Ruminate involved articles discussing the intersection of food systems and social issues during the COVID-19 pandemic. Monika's academic background includes a Master’s degree in Cultural Anthropology with a focus on Sustainable Citizenship from Utrecht University and a Bachelor of Science in Social Sciences and Criminology from Ramapo College of New Jersey.
