Torrie Bethany has a varied and extensive work experience in the field of communications and marketing. Torrie is currently working as a Communications Director at the National Domestic Violence Hotline since 2022. Prior to that, they served as a Marketing and Communications Manager at the Texas Education Agency from 2019 to 2022. Torrie also held the role of Communications Manager at the Texas Criminal Justice Coalition from 2018 to 2019 and at the Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce from 2017 to 2018. Before that, they worked as a Communications Project Coordinator at the State Bar of Texas from 2014 to 2017. Additionally, they worked as a City Council Aide at the City of San Antonio from 2011 to 2014 and served as a Congressional Intern at the Office of Congressman Al Green in 2011 and the Office of Congressman Charles Gonzalez from 2011 to 2011. Torrie also gained experience as a Summer Fellow at the International Radio and Television Society in 2010 and as a Public Relations Intern at aMAEzing Marketing and Special Events in 2009.
Torrie Bethany obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from Our Lady of the Lake University, where they studied from 2006 to 2010.
