Stephen Boatman

Stephen Boatman has a diverse work experience in the finance industry. Stephen is currently working as the Finance Director at National Education Group since May 2022. Prior to this role, they served as the Interim Finance Director from November 2021 to May 2022.

Before joining National Education Group, Stephen worked at Grant Thornton UK LLP for several years in different roles. Stephen started as an Audit Associate in January 2015 and progressed to become an Audit Executive in December 2018. In October 2019, they became an M&A Executive in the Corporate Finance department. From April 2020 to May 2022, Stephen held the position of M&A Manager and was responsible for project managing M&A transactions in the Business Services sector. Stephen has gained significant experience in transactions ranging from £5 million to £150 million and has expertise in mergers and acquisitions, raising finance, and business valuations.

Stephen Boatman pursued their education in a chronological manner, starting with their attendance at Hampton School from 2006 to 2011. During this time, they did not earn a specific degree or study any particular field. Later, from 2011 to 2014, Stephen Boatman attended the University of Bristol, where they obtained their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Accounting and Finance. Finally, from 2015 to 2018, they attended ICAEW and completed the ACA program, although the field of study for this qualification was not provided.
