Brian Strazisar is a highly experienced Supervisory Research Physical Scientist at the National Energy Technology Laboratory, with a career spanning over two decades in cement chemistry, concrete, and construction materials. At the National Energy Technology Laboratory since July 2021, Brian has previously held the positions of Research Team Lead and Research Physical Scientist, focusing on geologic carbon storage and the integrity of wellbore cement. Prior to this, Brian served as Principal Investigator at RJ Lee Group from 2014 to 2020, where forensic investigations of concrete and assessments of cementitious materials were conducted. Brian holds a PhD in Physical Chemistry from Cornell University and a BS in Chemistry from the University of Pittsburgh.
