Ivonne Peña-Cabra

Ivonne Peña-Cabra is a Principal Energy Consultant at KeyLogic and a Senior Engineer for the National Energy Technology Laboratory's Strategic Systems Analysis and Engineering Group since February 2019. Previously, Peña-Cabra served as an Advisor at the Comisión de Regulación de Energía y Gas de Colombia from March 2017 to September 2018 and as a Research Engineer at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory, focusing on cybersecurity in energy systems and the integration of renewable sources into the transmission grid. Other roles include presidency of the USAEE Three Rivers Chapter and leadership positions at Westeva, where participation in the Colombia Clean Energy Program was notable. Peña-Cabra holds a Ph.D. in Engineering and Public Policy from Carnegie Mellon University and Instituto Superior Técnico, a Master in International Development from the University of Pittsburgh, and a Bachelor's in Electronic Engineering from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana.
