Timothy Fout is a Program Manager at the U.S. Department of Energy since January 2024 and has been a Senior Research Engineer at the National Energy Technology Laboratory since April 2004, leading systems and economic analyses of fossil energy technologies, particularly in CO2 capture and Oxy-combustion. Previous experience includes working as a Chemical Engineer at REM Engineering Services from November 1999 to April 2004 and serving as a Post Masters Researcher at ORISE from November 1998 to November 1999. Timothy Fout holds a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, both from West Virginia University, completed in 1998 and 1996, respectively.
