Frank Hurd

Frank Hurd serves as the Chief Administrative Officer at St. Mary's Parish Annapolis since January 2019 and is a Principal at The Palmer Group, engaging with organizations on policy issues and strategic planning since January 2012. Hurd also holds the position of Vice Chairman at the National Older Worker Career Center since June 2000. Previously, Hurd was the Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of The Carpet and Rug Institute from 2001 to January 2012, overseeing a national trade association. Hurd's experience includes serving as Managing Director of the Chlorine Chemistry Council from 1996 to 2002, where responsibilities involved finance and operations for a national trade association. A notable military career spanned from February 1968 to January 1996, culminating in the role of Colonel in the US Army, with significant assignments including Chief of the Senate Liaison Division and multiple comptroller roles. Frank Hurd holds a Master of Business Administration from Georgia Institute of Technology, post-graduate work in Operations Research from the University of Georgia, and a Bachelor of Science from Mercer University.
