Jon Thompson

Jon Thompson has a diverse work experience in communications and press roles. Jon is currently serving as the Communications Director at the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB). Prior to that, they worked as the Campaign Communications Director for Vice President Mike Pence from 2019 to 2020. Jon also served as the Communications Director and Press Secretary for the Republican Governors Association from 2011 to 2019. Before that, they held the position of Director of Radio and Television at NRCC from 2009 to 2011. Jon began their career as a Press Assistant and participated in the Eisenhower Summer Internship Program at the Republican National Committee from 2007 to 2009.

Jon Thompson obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of North Carolina Wilmington in 2007.
