Jennifer Dunnam

Jennifer Dunnam has extensive experience in the field of accessibility and advocacy for individuals with visual impairments. Currently serving as the Director of Braille Advancement at the National Federation of the Blind since January 2007, Jennifer coordinates nationwide certification courses in braille transcribing and proofreading under a contract with the Library of Congress. Additionally, Jennifer holds the position of President in a statewide consumer advocacy organization and has been the Treasurer for the National Federation of the Blind of Minnesota Inc. since October 2017. Prior to these roles, Jennifer was the Manager of Access Programs at the University of Minnesota, overseeing alternate formats production and a testing center for students with disabilities. Jennifer earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in French, Spanish, and Political Science from Louisiana Tech University between 1988 and 1992.
