Sierra Milligan has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Sierra began their career in 2010 as a Manager/Worker at Emanuel County Canning Facilities, where they worked until 2013. In 2012, Sierra served as State Vice President for the Georgia FFA Association. From 2014 to 2015, they worked as a Hostess at Longhorn Steakhouse and simultaneously held the position of Vice President at Sigma Alpha Professional Agricultural Sorority. In their role as Vice President, Sierra oversaw professional development, risk management, and maintained connections with industry leaders. Sierra later joined the University of Georgia as a Student Research Assistant from 2015 to 2019. Sierra then worked as a Talent Coordinator at the National FFA Organization from October 2016 to the present. Sierra's latest role was as a Research Assistant at BioTec Era from January to August 2019. Sierra'swork experience showcases a strong background in research, leadership, and coordination.

Sierra Milligan's education history begins in 2013 when they attended Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College. Sierra completed their Associate of Science degree in Agricultural and Biological Engineering in 2015. Subsequently, from 2015 to 2019, Sierra pursued their Bachelor's degree in Biochemical Engineering at The University of Georgia. Following their undergraduate studies, they joined the University of Georgia College of Engineering from 2019 to 2021 to obtain a Master's degree in the same field. Currently, Sierra is pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering at The University of Georgia, starting in 2022 and ending in 2025.
