Valerie Luhman

Valerie Luhman has a diverse work experience, starting with their most recent role as a Store Manager at ALDI USA since August 2018. Prior to this, they held a leadership position as the National FFA Central Region Vice President at the National FFA Organization starting in October 2016. Valerie also served as a National Officer Candidate for the organization from June 2015 to October 2016.

Valerie has also gained professional experience through various internships. Valerie worked as a Human Resources, Public Affairs, and Communications Intern at Christensen Farms in May to July 2016. In February to April 2016, they served as a CFANS Admissions Intern at the University of Minnesota. Additionally, Valerie worked as a Minnesota Pork Intern at the Minnesota Pork Board from May to September 2015.

Before their internships, Valerie held significant leadership roles within the Minnesota FFA Association, including serving as the 2014-2015 Minnesota FFA State Secretary from April 2014 to April 2015. Valerie also gained practical experience as a Farm Hand at Earley Farms from January 2010 to May 2014.

In 2013, Valerie had a summer internship at the Minnesota Farmers Union.

Valerie Luhman attended Kingsland High School from 2008 to 2014. After graduating, they continued their education at Riverland Community College from 2012 to 2014, where they took College in the Schools Classes. Subsequently, Valerie enrolled at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, earning a degree in Agricultural Communications and Marketing from 2014 to 2016. During their time at the University, they focused on Agricultural Communication/Journalism. In addition to their formal education, Valerie obtained the Ziglar Youth Certification from Ziglar, Inc in July 2016.
