Carrie Felton has a diverse work experience in the field of workforce development and social services. Carrie is currently working as the Director of Worker Success at the National Fund for Workforce Solutions since October 2021. Prior to this, they were involved with the Heartland Alliance, where they held multiple roles. From July 2021 to October 2021, they served as the Senior Project Manager of Innovation and Practice. Before that, they worked as the Senior Project Manager at the National Center for Employment & Homelessness (NCEH) from October 2018 to July 2021. Carrie also served as a Research & Policy Associate from June 2017 to October 2018 at the same organization. Carrie started their career as a Graduate Student Intern at Northwestern University from August 2016 to June 2017. Carrie also worked at the South Central Community Action Program, Inc. as a Thriving Connections Coach from July 2010 to August 2015, and as a Family Development Specialist from June 2008 to July 2010. Carrie'searlier experience includes working as a Home Based Caseworker/Youth Mentor at Ireland Home Based Services from June 2007 to June 2008.
Carrie Felton pursued their education at the Indiana University Bloomington from 2001 to 2005. During this period, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Religious Studies. Later on, they attended the University of Chicago Crown Family School of Social Work, Policy, and Practice from 2016 to 2018, where they earned an AM (MSW equivalent) degree in Social Work.
