Dr Hannah Rudman was appointed to the board in October 2018. She is a digital transformation expert practitioner, entrepreneur and academic. Currently, she is SRUC‘s Senior Challenge Research Fellow, researching and developing digital innovations that can best assist in assuring, strengthening and proving Scotland’s natural economy’s – and its agriculture and land-based sectors’ – impact on grand challenges. An experienced non-executive Director, Dr Rudman has served as Board Director for the Macrobert Arts Centre, New Media Scotland and Digital North. She was elected as Fellow of the British Computer Society in 2016, as Honorary Fellow at Durham University in 2015 and as Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, Manufacture and Commerce in 2007.
