Aoife Brady

Curator Of Italian And Spanish Art at National Gallery of Ireland

Aoife Brady serves as the Curator of Italian and Spanish Art at the National Gallery of Ireland since February 2019. Prior to this role, Aoife held positions as the Harry M. Weinrebe Curatorial Fellow at The National Gallery and as a Postdoctoral Curatorial Fellow at the J. Paul Getty Trust. Aoife's academic experience includes serving as a part-time lecturer and tutor at Trinity College Dublin, where a summer course was developed to enhance knowledge in Irish and European art and design history. Aoife's earlier roles comprise management and instruction in sailing clubs and internships at the National Gallery of Ireland, with a foundational education including a Ph.D. in Art History and a Bachelor's Degree in History of Art and Architecture from Trinity College Dublin.
