Kathryn Milligan

Kathryn Milligan currently serves as an Assistant Librarian at the Edward Murphy Library, National College of Art & Design, starting January 2024. With extensive experience in art history and library services, Kathryn has been a Tour Guide at the National Gallery of Ireland since September 2008, developing and delivering online learning courses and facilitating audience engagement with exhibitions. Additionally, Kathryn held roles as an ESB Centre for the Study of Irish Art Fellow and Library Assistant (Special Collections) at University College Dublin, contributing to exhibition development, collections management, and research support. A Doctor of Philosophy in Irish Art History from Trinity College Dublin complements Kathryn's rich background in research, teaching, and library science, along with previous roles at various institutions that underscore a commitment to art, education, and community engagement.
