Colin Jones

Colin Jones MBA is an accomplished Project Sponsor and Senior Investment Engineer at National Gas since November 2023, leading the Cyber & Controls Programme to secure Ofgem support for National Gas sites across the UK. Previously, Colin held the position of Head of Projects at Mitie, overseeing a project management team in the challenging Falkland Islands, and at Powerstar, where Colin implemented a project management framework focused on green energy solutions. Additional experience includes leading projects at Cullum Limited in the power generation sector, and managing international project teams at Easat Radar Systems Ltd for Air Traffic Management solutions. Colin also contributed to various engineering projects for organizations such as Babcock International Group, BAE Systems, and Hydratight, managing complex deliverables in high-risk environments. Colin earned a Master of Business Administration from Birmingham City University, specializing in PFI Value for Money Assessment.
