Ruth Vakrat

Ruth Vakrat is a Principal UX Specialist at National Gas since September 2023, where the focus is on analyzing roles, systems, and devices used by Engineers, Technicians, and Planners to enhance efficiency and experience. Previously, as Enterprise User Experience Lead at the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport, Ruth oversaw user research and the redesign of the Employee Journey. In the role of Digital Head of Enterprise User Experience at the Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities, contributions included enhancing user-centered approaches in enterprise experience across various domains. Ruth founded Sputnik Education, an organization that provided practical UX/CX training through real projects, and has held significant UX positions with various companies, including Microsoft, where involvement in the award-winning Xbox Kinect Sesame Street TV application took place. Ruth holds a degree in UX Strategy Leadership and has further education in design communication and user experience principles.
