Michael Weiner

Michael Weiner is currently the Chief Financial Officer at National General Insurance. Michael has held this position since 2010 and has been with the company for over 10 years. Prior to joining National General Insurance, Weiner worked as the Global Insurance CFO for GMAC from 2009 to 2010. Michael also served as the Vice President for Cerberus Capital Management from 2008 to 2009 and as the SVP - Director for Citigroup from 2002 to 2008. In addition, Weiner has experience working as a financial consultant with KPMG Consulting from 1999 to 2002 and as the VP of Corporate Analysis and Investor Relations for Bankers Trust from 1995 to 1999.

Michael Weiner has a MBA in Banking and Finance from Hofstra University and a BBA in Management from Adelphi University. Michael also has experience in other fields from other schools.

Michael Weiner reports to Barry Karfunkel, CEO & Co-Chairman. They are on a team with Peter Rendall - Chief Operating Officer, Doug Hanes - Executive Vice President of P&C Product Management, and Aaron Goddard - President of Velapoint Insurance, President of Agency Sales.
