Vincent D'Ambra

SVP Business Affairs, National Geographic Content at National Geographic Partners

Vincent D'Ambra has extensive experience in business and legal affairs within the media industry. Vincent began their career at Discovery Communications as a Manager of Business Affairs, where they negotiated production and programming agreements for various networks and business units. Vincent also served as a Business Affairs liaison for Latin American and Asian territories.

D'Ambra then joined National Geographic Channels International, where they held multiple roles, including Vice President of Business and Legal Affairs and Director of Business and Legal Affairs. In these positions, they oversaw the drafting, negotiation, and review of programming deals and corporate agreements. Vincent also collaborated with the Director of New Media to develop innovative solutions for asset exploitation across various media platforms.

In 2012, D'Ambra became the Senior Vice President of Business and Legal Affairs at National Geographic Channels, where they headed the departments responsible for the global broadcast and exploitation of the National Geographic Channel. Vincent also served as Senior Counsel for the London-based Global Content Sales Group.

From 2015 to 2019, D'Ambra worked as the Senior Vice President of Business & Legal Affairs at National Geographic Partners. In this role, they were responsible for National Geographic Expeditions/Travel and oversaw a team of lawyers and paralegals. Vincent drafted and negotiated unscripted TV agreements and provided legal support across all aspects of National Geographic Expeditions/Travel.

In 2019, D'Ambra returned to National Geographic Partners as the Senior Vice President of Business Affairs for National Geographic Content. Vincent is currently involved in negotiating and drafting various content agreements on behalf of National Geographic branded programming services, including Disney+.

Throughout their career, D'Ambra has demonstrated their expertise in negotiation, drafting agreements, and providing legal support within the media industry.

Vincent D'Ambra began their education in 1987 at the University of Rhode Island, where they pursued a double major in English and Philosophy. Vincent completed their undergraduate studies in 1994, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree. Following this, they attended The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law from 1994 to 1997, where they obtained their Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree, specializing in Law.
