Mitchell Sava has a diverse and extensive work experience in various organizations and roles. Mitchell is currently the Vice President of EduLab at the National Geographic Society. Previously, they served as the Managing Director at Duke Innovation and Entrepreneurship, where they led experiential programs and internal operations to establish sustainability and promote entrepreneurship education. Before that, they were the Vice President of Innovation and Engagement at the Museum of Life and Science, where they led a team in developing new partnerships, services, and innovations. Mitchell also worked at Fjord as the Head of Innovation | Member of Design Strategy Group, at Accenture as the Global Innovation Architect & Global Lead on Open Innovation, at Creative England as the Head of Innovation & Director of Creative Industries iNet, and at PolyWonk as the CEO. In addition, Mitchell has previous experience as a Sr. Policy Advisor at NESTA, a Policy Advisor at the United Nations, and a Sr. Manager at Deloitte Consulting, where they specialized in innovation and ventures.

Mitchell Sava has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from William & Mary. Mitchell also holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Technology & Human Affairs from Washington University in St. Louis. Additionally, Mitchell has pursued further education at Harvard Kennedy School, where they are studying for a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree with a focus on Innovation & Entrepreneurship Policy.
