Rachid Merzaq

Rachid Merzaq is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in editorial strategy, translation, and linguistic quality assessment. Currently serving as Head of Unit for Content Development at National Geographic since August 2010, Rachid spearheads editorial initiatives and adapts content to meet the needs of the MENA region. Previous roles include Head of Unit for Translation and Proofreading and various positions at Ajman University of Science and Technology, demonstrating a consistent commitment to high-quality content production. Additionally, Rachid has a diverse background in freelance translation and has served as a Teacher of English as a Foreign Language. Rachid holds a Master's degree in Translation from King Fahd Advanced School of Translation and a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from Cadi Ayyad University.
