Matt Gessel

Matthew Gessel currently serves as a Policy Coordinator at the National Governors Association, starting in February 2024. Previously, Matthew was a State Innovation Fellow for the State of Utah from January to June 2023, where responsibilities included assisting the chief innovation officer to improve customer experience and support healthcare initiatives. Matthew gained experience as a Circulation Clerk at the Howard W. Hunter Law Library from August 2020 to April 2023, managing patron inquiries and preparing course materials. Additionally, Matthew interned at PwC in 2022, focusing on workforce transformation and development in the healthcare and industrial sectors, and worked as an intern in the United States Senate, engaging in constituent communication and policy research. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Brigham Young University's Marriott School of Business.
