Jordan Shafir

Jordan Shafir MBA is an experienced professional in strategic sourcing and procurement, currently serving as the Strategic Sourcing Lead at National Grid since September 2016. In this role, Jordan oversees significant projects related to Transmission Line and Substation Construction and has pioneered the adoption of aerial services as alternative access methods. Previous positions at National Grid include managing a $500 million category for Preferred Contractors in Substation and Transmission line projects and handling over $400 million in annual spend focused on energy efficiency and innovation. Jordan holds an MBA from Northeastern University with concentrations in Supply Chain Management and Corporate Renewal, and a Bachelor’s degree in Corporate Finance and Sport Management from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Prior experience includes roles at EMC as Associate Procurement Specialist, along with various internships that contributed to a solid foundation in finance and marketing.
