Bob Walkowiak has a varied work experience spanning several companies and roles. Bob began their career at Grant Thornton LLP as an Audit Manager from 1986 to 1992. Following this, they worked at Telephone and Data Systems as the Internal Audit Director from 1992 to 2000. Bob then joined Telephone and Data Systems as the Director of Process Reengineering & Collaboration Center from 2000 to 2002. In 2005, Bob joined National Guardian Life Insurance Company as the Director of Corporate Risk Management until 2008, when they were promoted to Assistant Vice President & Director of Corporate Risk Management. Bob currently holds the position of Vice President at National Guardian Life Insurance Company, which they have held since September 2013.

Bob Walkowiak attended UW-Eau Claire from 1980 to 1984. Bob pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a focus on Accounting during their time at the university.
