Dr Erin McGillick

Member, Women In Health Science Advisory Committee at National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC)

Dr. Erin McGillick is a Research Fellow in Clinical and Health Sciences at the University of South Australia and a member of the Women in Health Science Advisory Committee for the National Health and Medical Research Council. With extensive experience in equity, diversity, and inclusion initiatives, Dr. McGillick serves on the Equity, Diversity & Inclusion Committee for Science & Technology Australia and is a Director at the Australian Society for Medical Research, where responsibilities include media direction and advocacy for underrepresented groups in health research. An Honorary Research Fellow at the Hudson Institute of Medical Research since 2016, Dr. McGillick co-led the Ally Network and contributed to LGBTQIA+ inclusion efforts, while also serving as a PhD supervisor and lecturer at Monash University. Dr. McGillick holds a PhD in Medical Science from the University of South Australia and has a significant track record in biomedical research, particularly in neonatal health and development.
