Christina Smith

Christina Smith is a General Engineer at the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) since September 2022. Previously, Christina served as a Senior Engineer on contract to NHTSA for the New Car Assessment Program at Alpha Technology Associate, Inc. from September 2007 to September 2022, where responsibilities included reviewing vehicle crash test data and acting as a liaison between test laboratories, Federal engineers, and vehicle manufacturers. Christina began their career as a Community Assistant at the University of Maryland's Department of Resident Life from September 2005 to May 2007, providing information resources and managing community keys and mail for over 600 residents. Christina holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maryland, earned in 2007.
