Karuna Tamrakar

Karuna Tamrakar currently serves as a Program Specialist in Quality at the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization since June 2021, having previously held the role of Quality Program Coordinator. Prior experience includes the position of Operations Project Assistant at BridgePoint Healthcare from November 2016 to July 2020, and Manager of the Hospital Elder Life Program at Inova Health System from March 2015 to October 2016. Additionally, Karuna completed a graduate internship at the DC VA Medical Center in early 2014, focusing on the assessment and analysis of patient discharge processes. Earlier work experience includes serving as Director of Sales at Sunrise Senior Living from January 2013 to August 2013. Karuna holds a Master's Degree in Health Care Administration and Management, as well as a Graduate Certificate in Senior Housing/Assisted Living from George Mason University, where studies were completed between 2009 and 2011.
