Sarita Patel

Sarita Patel, SPHR, serves as the Associate Director for University Human Resources at Stanford University since November 2023, and holds a board member position with the Silicon Valley National Human Resources Association since July 2023. Previously, Sarita was a Senior HR & OD Business Partner at Gerdau from April 2011 to January 2023, where focus areas included developing data-driven HR strategies and advancing Diversity Equity & Inclusion initiatives. Sarita's career also includes experience as a Learning & Organizational Development Specialist and HR Senior Personnel Analyst with Hillsborough County between October 2005 and April 2011. Academically, Sarita holds an M.A. in Industrial Organizational Psychology from The University of Akron and a B.A. in Psychology and Spanish from the University of Massachusetts Lowell.
