Paul Bonnington

Paul Bonnington currently serves as Interim Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research & Innovation) and Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Research Infrastructure) at The University of Queensland, where responsibilities include strategic leadership of research infrastructure. Paul holds various board and advisory roles, including positions with the National Imaging Facility, Microscopy Australia, and TERN Australia. An adjunct professor at Monash University since 2008, Paul also directs the Monash eResearch Centre. Paul has contributed significantly to the field of data science and advanced computing, holding prestigious roles in various committees and organizations, and has received the Agilent Thought Leader Award. Paul earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Mathematics from Massey University.
